ins-lo
Inscapes – the inward essential qualities of observed objects as embodied in artistic, literary expressions.

Over the years my versatility has enabled me, as Inscapes, to provide art/crafts workshops to various organisations: schools, colleges and community groups in African mask making, glass painting, carnival mask making, Aboriginal painting and pastel portraiture. I have also produced backdrops for schools to be used for their school plays.Chest

Activities are structured so that no one is left behind and are generally used to help raise self-esteem, develop imagination, creativity and self-confidence.

Educational Activities

Each activity is presented with an educational element, to develop awareness of the traditions and artistic values of the sometimes forgotten cultures, e.g. Aboriginal painting and the activity itself. The activities are in popular demand all year round and especially during the Black History Month celebrations each October/November.

For bookings for activities and services in the Birmingham area please contact me.

I am also involved with a number of other community art/drama groups including my own charity – Studio Select, that I started in 2001, Radio Rep, Theatre de Europe and Erdington Arts Forum. These form the nucleus of my arts sphere, so, have a further peep at them to see what goes on in the atypical Erdington.
